Studies have also shown that antioxidants found in beetroot improves ‘endurance exercise performance’ – both aerobic and anaerobic. Many studies have been replicated providing evidence for the multiple benefits of beetroot both during and following exercise. Whilst also improving recovery from exercise, antioxidants are also known to help in preventing some of the changes of aging. So, it doesn’t only help your performance in exercise and make you feel great, it also makes you look great.
